Jaringan Masyarakat Tani Indonesia
ICCA (the Indonesian Climate Change Alliance) has organized a workshop entitled “Climate Policy and Action at Local, National and International Levels” which took place for 4 days from 13 to 16 November 2023 at the Convention Centre Hotel Braja Mustika, Bogor, West Java. The workshop was attended by 40 participants - 30% women - representing 18 ICCA member organizations, they came from various regions in Indonesia, namely Sumatra, Java, Bali, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. The meeting was very dynamic with exchanges of ideas, debates, and the birth of mutual agreements. The results achieved included a sharpening of the participants' understanding of climate change issues; the formulation of ICCA's public statement; and the formulation of ICCA's follow-up steps for the next two years.
