Climate Field School (CFS) merupakan salah satu kegiatan JAMTANI dalam rangka adptasi perubahan iklim bagi petani. dalam CFS sendiri terdapat berbagai kegiatan seperti :
A. Pre-planting activities
  1. Determining participants based on the results of the Risk Assessment
  2. Preparation of Planting Calendar and Learning Contract: Activities to determine the schedule of cultivation activities from planting to harvest based on climate data from the Meteorology Geophysics Agency monitoring stations and paying attention to local climate knowledge (Pronoto Mongso : is the classification of seasons in one year which is arranged based on the characteristics and cycles of base on observations of natural phenomena). Also we do regulations during learning activities.
  3. Determining the topic of study to be carried out: JAMTANI provides a wide selection of tolerant rice varieties and farmers determine which varieties will be studied based on the characteristics that farmers are interested in.
  4. Understand the importance of soil fertility through various training, such as soil ecology learning training and soil health training (understanding the physical properties of the soil), training in the use of PUTS: Paddy Soil Testing Equipment (understanding the chemical properties of the soil), and training in calculating soil fertilizer needs
  5. Training in making organic inputs for plant nutrition and/or pest control such as training in making compost, liquid fertilizer, botanical pesticides/biopest, training to multiply various biological agents as pest control, soil fertilizer and PGPR
  6. Seed Treatment through seed selection with salt water, soaking the seeds until they sprout (mixed with Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomanas fluorescens as PGPR)
  7. Seedling (outside the rice field) to minimize crop failure due to drought, flooding or increased salinity
  8. Application of compost as basic fertilizer
  9. Land processing/Land management and water management
B. Planting

C. Maintenance (fertilizing, weeding, pest control)
Fertilization is carried out based on calculating plant fertilizer needs (including determining the type of fertilizer, amount and frequency) and the results of evaluating soil fertility (before planting). Additional fertilization is also given according to deficiency symptoms found during observation
Weeding is carried out at each observation (once a week)
Pest control is carried out using various methods ranging from prevention by soaking seeds and spraying seeds with biological agents, pest collection, biopesticides, making bumbung konservasi, bottle traps, smoking, making liquid smoke/ liquid bio husk charcoal.

D. Observation of plant growth and development (plant height, number of tillers, leaf color, number of productive tillers, number of panicles), agroecological observations (soil, water, weather, pests, natural enemies, vegetation, etc.)

E. Harvest

F. Learning process : The discussion and learning process every week is based on cases presented during observations and searching for solutions to problems together. The process of presenting observation results in an observation sheet and also the process of presenting observation results.
